‘I say blue is Eternal Life, red is Eternal Damnation and white is The Void…’
‘No, I think red is the Eternal Life one. You know how it is in the movies; always pick the red wire cos the blue one is a trick.’
‘That’s for bombs, idiot.’
‘Yeah, but who’s to say this ain’t the same thing?’
‘Come on…let’s just pick one and go through!’
‘Really? You’re just gonna pick one? What if you just pick Eternal Damnation?’
‘Damn! This is hard!’
‘Let’s think about it and come back some other time. Eternal life can wait another day or two.’

I love this bit of dialogue! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Thanks for reading and commenting, Jacey 🙂
Dear Sandra,
I loved your last line. Great story. Smiling here.

Dear Sandra,
That last line was the clincher for me. Good job.

Fun dialogue in your story, and I’m with them: Making a choice based on just colors doesn’t look easy at all!
Big decision. Too bad they can’t just take a little peek inside each one.
If we can sample the consequences of every big decision we have to make…wouldn’t life be so much easier!
Loved your story, loved the conundrum they find themselves in in the search for eternal life – the dialogue was amusing as hell.
Thanks a lot 🙂
